Me and a friend were traveling and used Yelp to find a quick lunch. It lead us to Lisa's Cafe. We split a steak and cheese sub on homemade bread and fries. The bread was so delicious, it made the sub everything. Portions were large, prices were great and the service was nice. The place is adorable inside and the people are friendly. I will definitely be back when in the area.

We passed Lisa's Cafe on a Saturday we were thrifting in the area. By looking at the full parking lot at breakfast we were certain we'd want to hit them up on our way back through.
It was about 11:30 when we stopped for lunch, although we were really craving breakfast. While I was disappointed to learn breakfast isn't available all day (darn!) we were promptly greeted and seated. The hostess was very friendly and although a little cluttered (in a good way) the whole vibe was very homey. Our server was equally friendly and patient with us as we struggled to make our lunch selections.
Ultimately hubby had a burger and I a Rachel. Both were cooked well and of large portion size. I was craving a little more crunch from the homemade slaw on my sandwich but it wasn't bad. I also had a side of their Italian pasta salad which contained raw broccoli. I, personally would have preferred zucchini in lieu of the broccoli but it was still very good. We shared a piece of their homemade peanut butter pie for dessert. It was huge and the perfect size for sharing. Did I mention it was delicious/!?
Overall we were very happy and full when we left and thought this place had alot of charm and was exceptionally clean. At check out we were given a token for spending $20 which is their form of loyalty. Refer to the picture for loyalty perks. They also have a discount for ordering online.
Lisa's Cafe is a little gem and we'd love to hit them up for breakfast sometime if we're ever in the area again.
4 stars because this is the kind of place that is screaming to have breakfast served all day; at least on weekends. The slaw was a bit on the runny side, and I thought broccoli in pasta salad wasn't the best choice. Also because if you add meat to a salad the price is high for a salad, but overall a fan! -

My new favorite breakfast place in Palmyra! Found it by chance driving by and I am glad that I stopped. The Decor, atmosphere, and most importantly, the food make you feel like your at home. Coffee is great as well, which is my make or break for a good breakfast place - the food had got to be good but the coffee seals the deal! Also, I would like to offer kudos to Lisa's on their grits. As a guy from South Carolina, I am pretty critical of any place serving grits but they have their grits game on point! I had the Corned Beef Benedict, which Is worth a repeat order. I will most definitely return here often.

You would pass this place without knowing it! But step inside and try their food and you will not miss it again! Like I said, not much for an eye catching restaurant from the outside but it is cozy inside and has a wonderful wait staff. The food is very reasonably priced and lunch portions are huge! Will be coming back!

I love local cafes, and Lisa's was great. Came through Palmyra on our obligatory day trip to Hershey and I had seen the reviews and had decided it was the best choice for lunch. It's about a 10-15 minute drive from the whole chocolate extravaganza, and it has good parking. It is also surprisingly spacey on the inside. We were seated and got our menus. I ordered the cordon bleu chicken as a wrap, and my friends ordered quiche, and the italian beef sandwich. The serving sizes are huge and the food is great. I was so full after eating here that i didn't need any extra chocolate to get me through the day. The quiche my friend got was beautifully cheesy, and looked marvelous. The other friend loved the quality of their homemade bread. If you're passing through and want some quality food prepared with love, come to Lisa's!
